Ever since a young age I’ve always had a love for the wild adventures and mysteries hidden within the pages of a good book. My mom always made sure I knew the value of a great story and I’m excited to pass that thrill of adventure to others. A creative mind must be exercised, and there is nothing more innocent and free forming than that of a child’s.
The first book I can remember reading is Love You Forever, a simple but beautiful story involving a parent and child. The story has had a lasting impact, paving way to my adolescent discoveries with the works of R.L. Stone, Judy Blume and the quartet of Boxcar Children. Tim O’Brien’s The Things They Carried will likely always be considered my personal favorite, though there is no doubt that the written text can influence and affect countless readers in countless ways.
My passion for story has evolved to include film, television and music, three independent mediums that empower and educate. When I’m not enjoying the works of others I am busy living my own. Though I travel often I currently call Austin, Texas home.
